Since 11 September 2026, manufacturers of products with digital elements must report actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe incidents under the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The obligation applies more than a year before the CRA's main cybersecurity requirements take effect on 11 December 2027, and it covers products already on the market. For many manufacturers of connected machines, devices and software, it is the first part of the CRA that has practical consequences.
